1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
1.1. By downloading, installing, or using the LockSeed application, you declare that you have read, understood, and fully agreed to these Terms of Use. 1.2. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, do not use the application and proceed to uninstall it immediately. 1.3. The use of LockSeed is only permitted for individuals 18 (eighteen) years of age or older. By using the application, you declare that you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.
2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
2.1. LockSeed is a security tool that encodes and decodes seeds (recovery phrases) for cryptocurrency wallets using the BIP39 standard. 2.2. IMPORTANT: LockSeed is NOT a cryptocurrency wallet. 2.3. The application does NOT: • Store, send, or receive cryptocurrencies • Access the internet or external servers • Collect, transmit, or store personal data • Store your original seed, personal phrase, or encoded sequence • Have any connection to your funds or wallets 2.4. LockSeed operates exclusively offline (100% air-gapped), without any network access permission.
3. USER RESPONSIBILITY
3.1. By using LockSeed, you are ENTIRELY responsible for: • Memorizing or storing your personal phrase in a safe location • Keeping the 26 or 52 encoded word sequence safe • Maintaining adequate backups of all your data • Ensuring your personal phrase is typed EXACTLY the same when encoding and decoding 3.2. ATTENTION TO COMMON ERRORS: The encoding/decoding process is sensitive. Common errors include: • Extra spaces before, after, or between words • Confusion between uppercase and lowercase letters • Visually similar but different characters (example: letter "o" vs number "0"; letter "l" vs number "1") • Special characters from different alphabets that look identical (example: Latin "o" vs Greek "ο") • Typing or spelling errors in the personal phrase 3.3. 24x7 Software has NO ACCESS to your seed, personal phrase, or encoded sequence. In case of loss or error, it is NOT possible to recover your data. 3.4. BACKUP RECOMMENDATION: The user acknowledges that the ONLY way to recover access to their funds is through the correct combination of encoded seed + personal phrase. 24x7 Software STRONGLY recommends that the user: • Maintain physical backups (paper, metal) in separate and secure locations • Test the decoding process before relying exclusively on LockSeed • Never store the personal phrase and encoded sequence in the same location • Never store the personal phrase or encoded sequence on devices connected to the internet
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
4.1. LockSeed is provided "AS IS", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. 4.2. 24x7 Software is NOT responsible for: • Loss of funds due to incorrect use of the application • Forgetting or losing the personal phrase • Loss or damage to the encoded sequence • Typing errors made by the user • Direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages • Lost profits or lost opportunities • Compatibility issues with specific devices • Failures resulting from operating system updates • Any financial loss, regardless of the amount 4.3. The user assumes TOTAL responsibility for using the application and protecting their information. 4.4. IN NO EVENT shall the total liability of 24x7 Software exceed the amount paid by the user for the acquisition of the application. 4.5. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, 24X7 SOFTWARE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE USE OF LOCKSEED.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
5.1. LockSeed, including but not limited to its source code, design, interface, encoding algorithms, brand, name, and logo, are the exclusive property of 24x7 Software, protected by intellectual property laws and international treaties. 5.2. It is expressly prohibited, without prior written authorization from 24x7 Software, to: • Copy, reproduce, or duplicate the application • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works • Distribute, license, or sublicense the application • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the code • Use the name "LockSeed" or variations in other products or services • Register domains, trademarks, or digital assets containing the name "LockSeed" 5.3. 24x7 Software reserves all rights to the proprietary encoding algorithm used in LockSeed.
6. VERSIONS AND PLANS
6.1. LockSeed is available in two versions: • Free: Basic features, up to 2 wallets, up to 3 addresses per wallet - Free • Premium: Unlimited wallets, unlimited addresses, priority support - $7.99 USD (one-time payment) 6.2. The Premium version is a separate application, purchased exclusively through the Google Play Store. 6.3. The Premium version is 100% offline, with no internet access permissions. 6.4. Purchase, refund, cancellation, and purchase restoration terms are governed exclusively by Google Play Store policies. 6.5. Prices may be changed at any time without prior notice. Price changes do not affect purchases already made.
7. ACCEPTABLE USE
7.1. You agree to use LockSeed only for legitimate and legal purposes. 7.2. It is expressly prohibited to: • Use the application for illegal activities of any nature • Use the application for money laundering or asset concealment • Use the application to hide funds of illicit origin • Attempt to reverse engineer the encoding algorithm • Redistribute, resell, or commercialize the application • Use the application in a way that violates local or international laws • Use the application in jurisdictions where the use of cryptocurrencies is prohibited
8. INDEMNIFICATION
8.1. The user agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 24x7 Software, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from: • Improper or incorrect use of the application • Violation of these Terms of Use • Violation of third-party rights • Illegal activities carried out with the help of the application
9. CHANGES TO TERMS
9.1. 24x7 Software reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. 9.2. Significant changes will be communicated through the application, official website, or registered email, with a minimum advance notice of 15 (fifteen) days. 9.3. Continued use of the application after the notification period implies tacit acceptance of the new terms. 9.4. If the user does not agree with the changes, they must immediately cease using the application.
10. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
10.1. LockSeed was designed with privacy by design. The application does not collect, store, process, or transmit any personal data. 10.2. No information entered in the application (seeds, personal phrases, encoded sequences) is transmitted to external servers or third parties. 10.3. 11. FORCE MAJEURE
11.1. 24x7 Software shall not be liable for failures, delays, or inability to perform resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, wars, acts of terrorism, pandemics, third-party infrastructure failures, government actions, or legislative changes.
12. GENERAL PROVISIONS
12.1. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the user and 24x7 Software regarding the use of LockSeed, superseding any prior agreements. 12.2. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms shall not affect the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect. 12.3. Tolerance of non-compliance with any obligation shall not constitute waiver or novation. 12.4. The user may not assign or transfer their rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent from 24x7 Software.
13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
13.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. 13.2. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. 13.3. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 (thirty) days, either party may submit the dispute to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the seat of arbitration shall be Wilmington, Delaware, USA. 13.4. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights. 13.5. For users in the European Union, the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) shall also apply where relevant.
