LockSeed is an app that protects your crypto wallet seed (12 or 24 words) **without ever storing it**. **How it works:** You have a seed (12 or 24 words) that gives access to your crypto wallet. Storing these words on paper or digitally is risky - if someone finds them, they can steal your cryptocurrencies. LockSeed solves this: 1. You choose a **personal phrase** that only you know (a song, poem, prayer, or any memorable phrase) 2. The app uses this phrase to **shuffle** your 12/24 words into a larger list of **26/52 words** 3. This shuffled list can be stored anywhere (paper, cloud, WhatsApp) **without risk** 4. Without your personal phrase, no one can discover which are your real words 5. The true seed is **NEVER** saved on the phone **Advantage:** You can write down the 26/52 words and store them anywhere. Even if someone finds this list, it's useless without your personal phrase.

**Detailed step-by-step to protect your seed:** **1. Access the wallet list** On the home screen, tap the "Wallets" button or wallet icon **2. Create a new wallet** Tap the "+" button in the upper right corner **3. Name your wallet** Enter a name to identify this wallet (e.g., "Main Bitcoin", "Ethereum Trading"). This name is just for your organization. **4. Select the number of words in your seed** - Choose "12 words" if your seed has 12 words - Choose "24 words" if your seed has 24 words - The app will generate a list of 26 words (for 12-word seed) or 52 words (for 24-word seed) **5. Enter your personal phrase** In the "Personal Phrase" field, enter a phrase only you know. - **IMPORTANT:** Use a phrase with 4 to 8 words in Roman alphabet (A-Z). Can be in any language, but do not use Hebrew, Arabic or special characters. - Use something you'll never forget: song lyrics, poem, prayer, special phrase - Example: "I love traveling to beaches in summer" - Tap the eye icon to verify what you typed **6. (Optional) Wallet password** You can save the password you use daily to access your crypto wallet. It will be encrypted and can only be viewed with the valid personal phrase. **7. Enter your seed words** - Below you'll see the "Enter your seeds here" panel - The number selector shows which word you'll enter (starts at 01) - Type the first word of your seed in the text field - Tap the "OK" button - The word goes to the table below, in the correct position - The selector automatically advances to the next word (02, 03, etc.) - Repeat until you enter all 12 or 24 words **8. Automatic validation** Each word is automatically validated against the BIP39 list (2048 valid words). If you type an incorrect word, the app warns immediately. This prevents typing errors that could make you lose wallet access. **9. Check the words table** Before continuing, visually verify all words are correct. The table shows your 12 or 24 words in numbered positions. **10. Encode your words** Tap the "Encode" button. The app will shuffle your words using your personal phrase. The result appears in the "Encoded Seed (26/52 words)" field. **11. IMPORTANT: Write down the 26/52 words** Copy or write down the 26/52 words that appear. You can store this list anywhere - it's safe without your phrase. Tap "Share" to send to yourself (WhatsApp, email, etc.) **12. Save the wallet** Tap the "Save" button. The wallet will be saved with the 26/52 words (NOT the real seed).

**When you need to see your words for wallet security or to recover it:** **1. Open the wallet** In the wallet list, tap the wallet you want to decode **2. Verify the encoded words are present** The "Encoded Seed (26/52 words)" field should have the 26 or 52 words. If the field is empty: - Import a backup you exported previously - Or manually type the 26/52 words you saved (paper, WhatsApp, cloud) - Paste the words in the field **3. Enter your personal phrase** In the "Personal Phrase" field, type EXACTLY the same phrase you used when creating **4. Tap "Decode"** The app will process the 26/52 words using your phrase. Your 12 or 24 REAL words will appear in the table. **5. Write down your words** **IMPORTANT:** The decoded words are NOT saved. Write them down immediately in a safe place. These are the words you use to restore your wallet in any app. **6. Close the screen when done** When you exit, the decoded words are erased from memory. This ensures your real seed is never exposed. **If decode shows wrong words:** Verify the personal phrase is EXACTLY the same

LockSeed allows you to save your cryptocurrency addresses for easy access, for when you need to send to others for a transfer, or when you're making a purchase yourself. **To add an address:** 1. Tap "Crypto" on the home screen or side menu 2. Tap the "+" button to add a new address 3. Select the network (Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Tron, Solana, Polygon) 4. Select the coin or token 5. Paste or type the public address 6. Add a name for identification (e.g., "My BTC Binance") 7. Tap "Save" **Available functions:** - **Copy:** Tap the copy icon to copy the address - **QR Code:** Tap to generate a QR Code for the address - **Share:** Send the address or QR Code via WhatsApp, email, etc. **Note:** Saved addresses are public and can be safely shared. They are used for cryptocurrency transactions.

You can add networks or coins if they are not registered. The app comes with major networks pre-configured:

**To view networks and tokens:** 1. Go to Menu > Networks and Tokens 2. View available networks 3. Each network shows its main tokens **To add a new network:** 1. Go to Menu > Networks and Tokens 2. Tap the "+" button next to "Networks" 3. Enter the network name and symbol 4. Tap "Save" **To add a new coin/token:** 1. Go to Menu > Networks and Tokens 2. Select the desired network 3. Tap the "+" button next to "Coins" 4. Enter the coin name and symbol 5. Tap "Save" **Automatic validation:** The app validates if the address format is compatible with the selected network, preventing errors.

Protect app access with PIN and/or biometrics. **To set up PIN:** 1. Go to Menu > Settings 2. In the PIN field, enter 4 to 6 digits 3. Tap "Save PIN" 4. Next time you open the app, PIN will be requested **To enable biometrics:** 1. Set up a PIN first (required) 2. Check the "Use biometrics" option 3. Next opening, you can use fingerprint or face 4. If biometrics fail, PIN will be requested as alternative **IMPORTANT: If you forget the PIN:** - You will need to uninstall and reinstall the app - Your wallets will be lost IN THE APP - But if you have the 26/52 words written down, made a backup, or shared with yourself on WhatsApp, you can recreate the wallets - That's why we recommend: write down the 26/52 words, make a backup and save on WhatsApp or cloud!

To use LockSeed on a new phone (or after reinstalling): **On old phone - Export:** 1. Go to Menu > Settings 2. In the "Backup" section, tap "Export" 3. The app generates a JSON file with all your wallets and addresses 4. Share with yourself (WhatsApp, email, cloud) **On new phone - Import:** 1. Install LockSeed from Google Play Store 2. Go to Menu > Settings 3. In the "Backup" section, tap "Import" 4. Paste the backup content (JSON) 5. Tap "Import" 6. All your wallets and addresses will be restored! **There is NO automatic sync** - the app works 100% offline for security. We recommend exporting regularly.

**Why is Premium a separate app?** Apps with internet permission CAN leak data. LockSeed Premium doesn't have that permission — it's a technical impossibility. **How to upgrade:** - Purchase Premium on Google Play Store - Download the LockSeed Premium app (separate, 100% offline) - Export your wallets from Lite and import into Premium

1. **NEVER share your personal phrase** - it's the only key to your seeds 2. **ALWAYS write down the 26/52 words or export** - they are your safe backup 3. **Use a memorable phrase** - something you'll never forget, but others can't guess 4. **Enable PIN or biometrics** - protects against unauthorized phone access 5. **DON'T take screenshots of the decoded seed** - your real words may leak 6. **You CAN write down the 26/52 words anywhere** - they're useless without your phrase 7. **Verify addresses before sending crypto** - errors are irreversible 8. **Keep the app updated** - security fixes are important 9. **Use different phrases for different wallets** - more security 10. **Test decode after creating** - confirm you can recover your words

**Problem: "Invalid personal phrase"** The app will inform if the phrase needs to be longer **Problem: "Word not recognized"** - The word must be in the BIP39 list (2048 English words) - Check the spelling (words are in English) - Words are lowercase **Problem: "Decoded seed is wrong"** The personal phrase must be EXACTLY the same as used in creation **Problem: "Forgot PIN"** 1. Uninstall the app 2. Reinstall from Google Play Store 3. Import the backup you exported, or recreate your wallets using the 26/52 words 4. That's why exporting or saving the 26/52 words is ESSENTIAL! **Problem: "Biometrics not working"** - Use PIN as alternative - Go to phone Settings and reconfigure your biometrics - Disable and enable again in the app **Problem: "App crashing"** - Close completely and reopen - Restart the phone - Check for updates on Play Store - Reinstall the app (remember to have the backup or the 26/52 words!)
